I don t want to spent money on expensive games for psp so I locked on the internet and found that i can download games. Finlay I discovered that I can't play them( I put them on memory stick and go to game-memory stick and there it says unsupported file or something like that). Can anyone help me?

you can hack your psp to give it custom firmware (cfw). There is no way to play downloaded iso files with official firmware (ofc). there are many tutorials on how to do so at psphacks.com, however you need to know that if you want to hack your psp it will take some studying on what to do and what youll need to do it. you dont want to brick your psp, mind you.
Hacking your psp gives you the freedom to do other things with your psp, such as use emulators to play your old favorites from other consoles and use homebrew software. |

I have enough money for the Psp, and right now best buy is having a sale where you get a free game with a psp purchase. i have about $40 to go to get the Daxter Edition, is it worth the wait or should i get the black one and get my own memory card?

I have been looking on the internet for information about the playstation portable (psp). While I was looking, I found out that one psp has a blue screen and the other psp I was looking at had a orange screen I cannot tell the difference is one slim and the other is fat or are they both the same?

Online the old psp is showed with a blue screen and the new slim one is shown with an orange screen. I would recommend getting the slim one. But you can change your screen color any time in the settings menu. You can even have a picture as your background. |

I've tried upgrading my psp from 3.03 oe-c to 3.70 but all I get is an error message saying "dadadada". What should I do now? I want to upgrade because new games such as spiderman 3 would not work on my version. A step by step procedure would be essential. And will this mean that after upgrading, the games on my psp would work or no? Thanks.

you dont update a custom firmware the same way you update an official. the DADADA error is because you are updating from a custom firmware to an official firmware.
if you want to update to an official, and lose all homebrew abilities you first need to downgrade to 1.50 using the oe recovery download found here:

Okay, I connected the USB to my computer and PSP and pressed "USB Connection" under settings on my PSP, and on the bottom right of my screen it said "New Hardware Found" and then said " Your Hardware has been successfully installed but NO FOLDER will pop up to add things to my PSP!!!!

look get your psp out of usb mode go to system settings>format your memory stick>say yes to all go back connect it to USB mode again you should have a psp folder in there.
ps. to accsess your psp go to start and click ''my computer'' then click removable disk like i said before the PSP folder should be in there click that EX: PSP>MUSIC>PHOTOS>VIDEOS>COMMON>SYSTEM
TO put videos in your psp they must be in mp4

You need to purchase a location free player (similar to a slingbox, but made by Sony) and hook it up to your cable/satellite box and it will send the wireless signal through your home computer's network. from there your television will be available from other wireless points on your psp.
All of this may not be 100 percent accurate, but it's what I understand from the program.
the only downside is the fact that the location free player costs about $250. . .bummer =^( |
