How to play psp games downloaded from the internet on your platform(psp) whithout damaging it? - 5/12/2009 9:17:01 AM
Q: I don t want to spent money on expensive games for psp so I locked on the internet and found that i can download games. Finlay I discovered that I can't play them( I put them on memory stick and go to game-memory stick and there it says unsupported file or something like that). Can anyone help me?
A: you can hack your psp to give it custom firmware (cfw). There is no way to play downloaded iso files with official firmware (ofc). there are many tutorials on how to do so at psphacks.com, however you need to know that if you want to hack your psp it will take some studying on what to do and what youll need to do it. you dont want to brick your psp, mind you. Hacking your psp gives you the freedom to do other things with your psp, such as use emulators to play your old favorites from other consoles and use homebrew software.

Whats the difference between psp fat, psp slim and psp slim lite and which is the best which psp should i buy? - 7/27/2008 1:21:57 PM
Q: Whats the difference between psp fat, psp slim and psp slim lite and which is the best which psp should i buy?
A: get the psp slim because it is Dimensions and weight:19% slimmer and 33% lighter system than the original PSP system.Hardware improvements. The PSP Slim & Lite offers several other tweaks and improvements from the older generation. To target the original PSP generation's poor load times for UMD games.o make the PSP slimmer, the capacity of the battery was reduced by 1/3. Due to more efficient power usage.External appearance, inputs and outputs The PSP Slim & Lite has a new gloss finish. The serial port was also modified in order to accommodate a new video-out feature.A new simpler and more compact UMD loading tray design was developed. Its analog stick was also redesigned to be more flexible and is not removable without opening the PSP.The archaic infra-red port was also removed because it offered no use to the original PSP generation Sony has added a TV output for the PSP Slim available through Firmware 3.60. The PSP can output in a conventional aspect ratio (4:3), and wide screen (16:9). It also offers a screen saver if the PSP is inactive for a set amount of time. It is able to output games, videos, and other media. To achieve TV output on the Slim model,Sony has released a new version of the remote control accessory designed for the Slim so thats why the psp slim is better then the fat one get the psp slim and pick me has best answer.

Whats the difference between the psp with the blue screen and the psp with the orange screen? - 11/17/2007 11:58:07 AM
Q: I have been looking on the internet for information about the playstation portable (psp). While I was looking, I found out that one psp has a blue screen and the other psp I was looking at had a orange screen I cannot tell the difference is one slim and the other is fat or are they both the same?
A: Online the old psp is showed with a blue screen and the new slim one is shown with an orange screen. I would recommend getting the slim one. But you can change your screen color any time in the settings menu. You can even have a picture as your background.

Q: I've tried upgrading my psp from 3.03 oe-c to 3.70 but all I get is an error message saying "dadadada". What should I do now? I want to upgrade because new games such as spiderman 3 would not work on my version. A step by step procedure would be essential. And will this mean that after upgrading, the games on my psp would work or no? Thanks.
A: you dont update a custom firmware the same way you update an official. the DADADA error is because you are updating from a custom firmware to an official firmware. if you want to update to an official, and lose all homebrew abilities you first need to downgrade to 1.50 using the oe recovery download found here: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49967 if you want to update the custom firmware, first you must update to 3.52m33.. http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1209 ^3.52 official update http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=4 ^1.50 update http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1210 ^^3.52m33 just follow the readme file in the m33 then you have to update to 3.52m33-4 (this is required if you plan on going up to 3.71m33) http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1231 then if you want to update to 3.71m33 (there is no 3.70m33) you use this: http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1259 ^3.71 official update http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1277 3.71m33

Q: How Do You Get TV On Your PSP?????!!!!!!!?????!??!??
A: You need to purchase a location free player (similar to a slingbox, but made by Sony) and hook it up to your cable/satellite box and it will send the wireless signal through your home computer's network. from there your television will be available from other wireless points on your psp. All of this may not be 100 percent accurate, but it's what I understand from the program. the only downside is the fact that the location free player costs about $250. . .bummer =^(
